Embracing ADHD

Everyone told me she was no good.

Always made me late, upset me, distracted me from doing the things I needed to get done. She made me question everything, feel bad about myself and I became too sensitive when she was around.

But they didn't know!

She also made me more creative, impulsive and gave me the freedom to think outside the box. I was more caring and empathetic to everyone around me. Yes, she gave me challenges but she also helped give me solutions. She created the beautiful, free-spirited, creative, innovative me.

I embrace her with all her beauty and all her warts. She is me and I am her.

We will work hand and hand to get better and achieve our goals. I love the me that is her.
